Aluminum Cabinets And Carts For Shop, Trailer & Track

(Weston, WI) DC Everest Marketing Education students are learning the value of their new mobile kiosk, The DECA Depot To Go, as they experience on-site retailing at high school events.

Kiosks are one of the hottest trends in retailing today, contributing added value to store sales while at various venues and locations. The new DECA Depot To Go, an extension of the DC Everest school store located at then end of the high school commons area, was purchased by the Marketing Education Department through grant money received this summer.

The kiosk, which aims to boost sales and brand buzz, offers an on-site retailing opportunity for spirit-wear and accessories.  Being at events, such as football games, has helped increase sales and has given marketing students the opportunity to supply spirit items such as game bibs, beads and foam fingers to DC Everest fans.

“Foam fingers typically do not move well at the retail store, but have found popularity on-site at the games,” said Jodi Peterson, DC Everest DECA Adviser. “Product accessibility and product presentation are crucial aspects of the retail business. The mobility of the kiosk provides another educational retail opportunity for marketing students to experience.”

A local manufacturer created the cart for the DC Everest Marketing students. CTECH Aluminum Cabinets and Carts, located in the Weston Business and Technology Park in Weston, Wisconsin, produced the cart with the student’s needs in mind.

“We created a vending application out of a cart that is typically used for the racing industry,” said Tara Marshall, CTECH Marketing and Sales Coordinator. “The dual side vendor window, peg board display doors and locking storage cabinet features create an efficient display and retailing cart that is easy to move from one venue to the next.”

CTECH is an aluminum cabinet manufacturer with products for a variety of industries: race shops, trailers and pit equipment; drawer units for industrial truck bodies; cabinets for home garages and just about anything else one may need or want made from aluminum.
