“I am super pumped about the carts CTECH built for us. We were faced with the dilemma of organizing a pit area for 24 bikes-with 12 mechanics. We needed a solution to create equal tool storage and workspace for each racer. The three custom colored 60” pit carts were the answer with stainless steel work areas and four equal banks of drawers. We also have two 23” monitors on each end of the carts for timing and scoring. We wanted to create a professional level pit environment for these future stars of road racing, and we definitely wanted to represent our sponsors in a professional manner.”
The Red Bull AMA U.S. Rookies Cup was designed for further developing the motorcycle talent in promising young riders between the ages of 13 and 16. Out of 600 applicants, 24 young talents out of North and South America were selected to compete on actual road racing circuits in front of large race day crowds, on identical bikes and under identical conditions. The program is designed to create a level playing field so that the best and the brightest emerge at the top and no young talent is overlooked due to a lack of financial resources or professional backing.
